Our Name

Bethel Bethel means "House of God" and serves as a reminder that we are united together for the purpose of honoring and serving Him, the Great King of the universe.

Bible The Bible is God's Word and serves as the authority not only of what we do as a church, but also as the guidebook for our individual lives. The Bible's teaching helps us to learn about God, His comforting promises to us as well as the commands and principles for life that will help us to live in a manner that honors Him.

Fellowship Bethel Church is a family of those who have trusted Jesus as personal Savior. We take seriously our privilege and responsibility to encourage, help and love one another.

Church The church is people. There are times we gather together as a family to worship God, who alone is worthy of all honor and praise. At all times we are to serve Him in our homes, neighborhoods, workplaces and schools or wherever He has called us to be.

Our Schedule

Sunday:

Worship Services................8:30 and 10:45 am The same Bible study is taught for both services, but music selection varies between the services. Both services usually run between 60-70 minutes in length. There is nursery for both services and a preschool program for the early service from ages 2 - K. During the second service, children under 3 have a nursery and there is a pre-school program for ages 4 - Kindergarten. A Children's Church time is offered for both services for grades 1-3.

Sunday School..................................9:45 am Sunday School is held immediately after the first service on Sunday morning. There are classes for pre-school through adults with topics changing each quarter. Nursery provided.

Evening Service..................................7:00 pm This is similar to the morning service with singing, personal testimonies, and a Bible study as well as a variety of special programs. Check the Latest Announcements page for Small groups dates.

Our Beliefs

(Acts 2:41-47) using the acrostic PRAISE

P rayer [v 42] We will speak and listen to God in order to gain His help, wisdom and direction at all times and in every situation.

R elationships [vv 42, 44, 46] We will practice to one another commands of the New Testament with a sincere heart and a humble, servant spirit in order to establish a strong commitment to our local family of believers.

A doration [vv 42, 47] We will love God and declare His matchless worth in every area of life so that He alone is praised and pleased.

I nstruction [v 41] We will invest whatever time and energy is needed in order to understand the Bible and motivate spiritual maturity in thoughts, words and deeds in ourselves and others so that they too can disciple others.

S ervice [v 45] We will use our God-given gifts, skills, talents and resources in obedience to His plan so that His Kingdom grows greater and stronger.

E vangelism [vv 41, 46, 47] We will love our neighbor as ourself by taking initiative at every opportunity to build bridges of relationship with those who have not yet believed the gospel, to share the good news of Jesus with them and to pray that they will believe and be baptized.

both the Old and New Testaments of the Bible are the only inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God

there is one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth and sinless life, in His miracles, in His death on a cross and resurrection as the substitutionary payments for peoples' sin, His ascension to the right hand of God the Father and His personal return in power and glory to establish the millennial kingdom.

being born again by the Holy Spirit is the only solution for sinful people to be forgiven and made a part of God's family.

people receive the free gift of eternal life by grace through faith apart from works or human merit.

the Holy Spirit indwells those who are born again and enables them to live a God-honoring life.

God commands Christians to love Him more each day, to love people and to share with them the good news that forgiveness of sin is available only through Jesus.
