Acts 2:41-47
P rayer [v 42] We will speak and listen to God in order to gain His
help, wisdom and direction at all times and in every situation.
R elationships [vv 42, 44, 46] We will practice the “one another”
commands of the New Testament with a sincere heart and a humble, servant
spirit in order to establish a strong commitment to our local family of
believers.
A doration [vv 42, 47] We will love God and declare His matchless worth
in every area of life so that He alone is praised and pleased.
I nstruction [v 41] We will invest whatever time and energy is needed in
order to understand the Bible and motivate spiritual maturity in thoughts,
words and deeds in ourselves and others so that they too can disciple
others.
S ervice [v 45] We will use our God-given gifts, skills, talents and
resources in obedience to His plan so that His Kingdom grows greater and
stronger.
E vangelism [vv 41, 46, 47] We will love our neighbor as ourselves by
taking initiative at every opportunity to build bridges of relationship with
those who have not yet believed the gospel, to share the good news of Jesus
with them and to pray that they will believe and be baptized.
